Bible Wednesday 11/7: Regardless

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 72:1-20. What attributes of righteous government seen here are deficient in our country’s political system and those who serve in it? Shall I pray accordingly? Any blind spots in my prayer?

Isaiah 12:1-6. Verse 5 KJV, regardless of the election outcome, what excellent things has God done for America and for me? What will be my song of gratitude today?

I Thessalonians 2:1-12. Verse 7, who nursed me as a baby Christian? Verse 11, who was a father to me in Christ? How can I pay it forward?

Luke 12:13-34. What do I seek more avidly than the kingdom of God, measured by time spent and effort put in? What are some practical ways in which I can reprioritize? First step?
