Bible Tuesday 8/7: A Man in Tears

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 78:1-72. Verse 36 KJV, while never admitting to myself that I flatter God or lie to him, in what subtle ways may I do exactly that? Prayer point?

II Kings 3:1-27. Via Elisha, God grants the kings water & victory. When has he met multiple needs through a single intervention in my life?

II Peter 2:1-11. Verse 1, what's my test to spot a false teacher or an expression of heresy? What are some examples confronting the church right now?

Mark 9:14-29. Verse 24, as a believer, what areas of unbelief do I struggle with? How can I humbly and honestly bring them to Jesus today as this man did?
