Bible Tuesday 1/22: Golden Rule

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 26:1-12. Verse 7 KJV, more today than yesterday, how can I publish what God means to me?

Genesis 22:1-24. “What, Lord, sacrifice my own son?” What is the hardest thing God has ever asked of me? Application for today?

Hebrews 11:17-29. Verse 26 KJV, in my life right now, what would it look like to opt for the reproach of Christ? How would that translate into riches?

Matthew 7:1-12. Verse 3, “look who’s talking.” Verse 12, the Golden Rule. Imagining someone who dislikes me and what I stand for, where would they accuse me under these verses? Any merit to their charge?
