Bible Monday 12/2: What Awaits Us

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 83:1-18. Verse 12, what forces in these times are attempting to invade and take over God’s house, the church? How is my church responding? My role?

Esther 3:1-15. Hamad plots genocide against the Jews. How does God want me to regard the Jewish people and the State of Israel? Why does it matter?

Revelation 10:1-11. Verse 9, what has been my experience of the sweet and bitter aspects of biblical truth? How can the bitter part make me a truer servant of Jesus today?

Luke 20:27-40. Verses 34-36, what attitudes and actions does God expect of me today, so when the time comes I’m ready to be a child of the resurrection, equal to the angels?
