Bible Monday 12/30: Well Done

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 147:1-20. Verses 10 and 11 KJV, by what actions and attitudes can I give God pleasure today? What shall I not do or say, to avoid displeasing him?

Jonah 3:1-10. When has God withheld the punishment or consequences I deserved for disobeying him? What did I learn? Present application?

Revelation 22:1-11. Verse 2 KJV, how does this image of the tree of life with leaves to heal the nations, play out practically in my work and my church’s work as disciples of Jesus?

Matthew 25:14-30. Verses 21 and 23, in the new year, what does it look like for me to be faithful over a few things for Jesus? What might it look like for him to make me ruler over many things before 2020 is out?
