Bible Wednesday 12/25: O Little Town

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 45:1-17. Verses 6-8, all hail King Jesus, God’s anointed. What specifically can I do today and tomorrow to walk according to his example?

Micah 5:1-15. Verse 2, little town of Bethlehem. How does the birth of Mary’s child impact “the hopes and fears of all the years” for me and my family?

Hebrews 2:1-18. Verse 12, if God wants me to consider Jesus my brother, what opportunity does that place before me? What obligation?

Luke 2:1-20. Verse 16 KJV, haste of the shepherds to find the newborn Savior. What do I need to speed up in my relationship with Jesus? Where have I been going too slowly?
