Bible Thursday 1/2: Ready to be Bulldozed?

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 5:1-12. Verse 3, entering this new year, how can I begin making my morning prayer more pleasing to God than ever before?

Deuteronomy 2:1-37. God’s exact map and plan for the Israelites’ approach to Canaan. What challenge am I now facing that calls for this kind of step by step reliance on him?

Hebrews 3:1-11. Verse 6, Christians as Jesus’ house (dwelling) and household (servants). What can I do today to make myself more habitable for him, and more serviceable to him?

Luke 3:1-6. Verse 5, related question, what are the not-enough and the too-much in my Christian life that I need to have God level out so I’m a better channel for his truth and love to others?
