Bible Tuesday 12/10: He that Serves

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 103:1-22. Verses 8-12, what wrongdoing on my part has God forgiven this year? How shall I thank him?

Daniel 2:1-49. Verses 18, 28, 37, and 47, “there is a God in heaven.” What opportunity will I have during this Christmas season to tell someone about Jesus? How shall I prepare?

Revelation 14:14-20. Grapes of wrath, flood of blood. What’s going on in my community right now that provokes God’s fierce anger? What is my church doing about it? My role?

Luke 18:22:24-34. Verse 27, “I am among you as he that serves.” For what person, in what way, can I live this out today in Jesus’ name?
