Bible Saturday 5/4: The Jesus Diet

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 116:1-19. Verse 15, who that has died shall I remember with special love and gratitude today?

Exodus 6:1-30. Verse 12, when has it seemed God was asking me to do something I was completely incapable of? What did I learn? Present application?

I Peter 4:12-19. Verse 13, how much, if at all, am I now a partaker of Christ’s suffering? What more could I realistically be doing in that regard? First step?

John 4:27-45. Verse 34, how can I modify my daily “diet” to center more on doing God’s will and taking up his work? By what signs would others notice?
