Bible Tuesday 4/30: Night Visitor

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 5:1-12. Verse 3, in my morning routine, what can I dial back in order to dial up my God-time?

Exodus 2:1-25. Verse 14, when have I impulsively tried to “play God” and force a solution with poor judgment? What did I learn? Present application?

Acts 7:17-29. Verses 19-21, God’s mysterious ways and unpredictable providence. What door can such a God open right now for me or a loved one, that I have regarded as impossible?

John 3:1-21. Verse 4, who do I know that is like Nicodemus, drawn to Jesus yet hesitant? Verse 21, how can I help that person come to the truth, come to the light?
