Bible Monday 6/10: Valley of Decision

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 65:1-13. Verse 4 KJV, dwelling in God’s courts, what would that look like today for me? Having him satisfy me, what would that look like today?

Joel 3:1-21. Verse 14 KJV, valley of decision, what is it I must decide today, in order to obey God and keep faith with him?

Acts 2:22-47. Verses 36-38, how might others sense today that I serve Jesus Christ crucified and risen, without my saying anything about it?

John 16:16-24. Verse 23, praying in Jesus’ name makes all the difference. Am I really alive to that, or do I just do it by rote?
