Bible Thursday 6/6: Membership

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 105:1-45. Verse 4 KJV, to really seek God’s face today, what are some things I must do? What are some things I must not do? Action point?

Exodus 39:1-43. Verse 43, Moses grades the final exam. What persons has God set in authority over various aspects of my life, to determine if I measure up? How can I get fuller benefit from this provision?

I Corinthians 12:12-31. Verses 25-27, does my church have the indivisible, integrated, interdependent quality of “body and members” that Paul is describing here? Action point?

John 15:1-8. Related to the above questions, what are the do’s and don’ts of realizing myself as a branch “abiding” in the vine, Jesus Christ? When has he pruned me? What was the result?
