Bible Friday 8/9: Not Impossible

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 92:1-15. Verse 14 KJV, in my current situation, what constitutes “bearing fruit” for God and other people? How shall I do this today?

Numbers 33:1-56. Complete log of Israel’s 40 years in the desert. What’s the map of my spiritual journey from 1979 until now? High and low points? Have I a map for the years ahead?

II Peter 3:1-7. Verse 2, what words do I treasure from the Old Testament prophets? And from the New Testament apostles? What difference can they make for me this very day?

Mark 11:20-26. Verse 23, what mountain do I hope to see God move for me today? Verse 25, what unforgiven wrong impedes my prayers today?
