Bible Thursday 1/30: Choose Life

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 75:1-10. Verses 6 and 7, what powerful individuals in high places are on my mind right now, whom I can trust God to handle in his good purpose?

Deuteronomy 30:1-20. Verse 19, what are some small choices I may make today that will ultimately add up to choosing or rejecting life in God?

Hebrews 12:12-17. Verse 13, related question, have I been on a straight or crooked path lately? Verse 17, what would “too late” look like if I just continue to drift along spiritually? Action point?

Matthew 9:1-8. Verse 2, whom do I know that is in desperate need today, that I could help bring into Jesus’ presence for healing and forgiveness? First step?
