Bible Monday 10/19: Walk It Out

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 119:89-128. Verses 93, 104, 128 KJV, what are some of God’s precepts that I am to be cherishing and following today? Why does it matter?

Nehemiah 6:1-19. Verses 2-4, in my own fidelity to the calling of God at this point in my life, what would be the equivalent of “coming down off the wall”?

Galatians 5:16-26. Verse 19, which of these works of the flesh do I need to be especially vigilant against? Verse 22, which of these fruits of the Spirit am I especially desirous for God to bring out in me today?

Luke 12:49-59. Verses 51-53, what divide has Jesus caused within my family? What does he want me to do about it? Must it always be that way?
