Bible Friday 11/13: Forgiven

/Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 32:1-11. Verses 1 and 2, what is the biggest thing God ever forgave me for? Or that another person has forgiven me for? How can I in some degree repay that today, or pay it forward?

Isaiah 18:1-7. Verse 7, people in desperation come to Mount Zion seeking God. While not a physical pilgrimage I can make today, what shall I do spiritually in the same vein?

II Thessalonians 3:6-18. Verse 13, how does weariness in well-doing take a toll on me as this hard year drags on? What is God’s remedy I can draw upon today?

Luke 19:11-27. What “return on investment” have I produced for Jesus thus far in 2020? How can I do better for him today and in weeks to come?
