Bible Thursday 11/12: All In

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 34:1-22. Verse 8 KJV, how does tasting of God’s goodness go beyond thinking or talking about it? What difference can it make in the kind of day I have today?

Isaiah 17:1-14. Verses 10 and 11, when has an important undertaking failed because I left God out of it? Present application?

II Thessalonians 2:13-3:5. Verse 1, who is in ministry and needs my prayers today, that through them God’s word may freely reach many?

Luke 19:1-10. Zaccheus goes all in. How might I get closer to Jesus if I was less cautious, less concerned about being ridiculed or criticized?
