Bible Monday 12/7: Christ the Servant

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 94:1-23. Verses 7-11, when have I tried to conceal something from God? What was the consequence? Present application?

Isaiah 42:1-25. Verses 2 and 3, what difficult matter am I dealing with at present where these qualities are required, in the course of loving God and my neighbor?

Revelation 12:13-17. The serpent at war with the woman, unabated from the Bible’s first book (Gen. 3:15) to its last. Why is this struggle more important than anything in current news? What does it require of me?

Luke 22:24-30. Verse 27, Christ the Servant. What opportunity can I find today to live by this example?
