Bible Tuesday 12/8: Jesus to Peter

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 95:1-11. Verse 6 KJV, should kneeling—outwardly or inwardly—play a greater part in my daily walk with God?

Isaiah 43:1-28. Verses 18-21, what evidence is there that amid the travails of 2020, God is doing a new thing in me, my family, my church, my country? What does he require of me as this develops?

Revelation 13:1-10. Verse 8, in what subtle forms does the worship of the beast hold sway in today’s world? How am I protected from it by having my name written in the Lamb’s book of life?

Luke 22:31-34. When have I paid dearly for overestimating myself and underestimating Satan? Prayer point for today?
