Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?
Psalms 119:89-120. Verse 92 KJV, what are some things about God, his attributes, his character, his ways, his acts, that can fill me with delight all day today?
Isaiah 54:1-17. Verse 17, what weapons of the Enemy, directed against me and mine, can I trust God to deflect and defeat today?
Revelation 18:21-24. Final fall of Babylon. Related question, verses 22 and 23, what mind-control “music” or sorceries and spells, projected over the land by the Enemy, can I trust God to annul today?
Luke 1:1-4. Related again, in this chaotic time with the Enemy so aggressive, why do I need eyewitness testimony of who Jesus was, who he is, what he came to do? How does it change my day?
