Bible Thursday 3/5: Slow Learners

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 10:1-18. Diagnosis of wicked individuals and wickedness as a condition. Why do Christians today say little or nothing about this global pandemic? Action point?

Jeremiah 31:1-40. Glorious renewal under God’s new covenant with his people. Truly embracing this, how would my church begin to change? First step now?

Romans 12:9-21. How does this contrast with current calls for believers to stand up for their rights? What daring risk could my church take to put this into practice?

Matthew 15:29-39. Verse 33, dull disciples forget how Jesus fed 5000 in the previous chapter. What am I concerned about right now, that God has already shown me he can absolutely handle?
