Bible Saturday 3/21: Royal Invitation

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 51:1-19. Verses 10-12, if God will use this crisis to change me from the inside out, what would that look like? How do I want to emerge from this as a better servant to him and to others?

Jeremiah 47:1-7. Woe to the Philistines. How can a God of love do this to anyone? How can God allow the current pandemic to wreak such havoc? How does he want me to think and act today amidst all this?

I Corinthians 3:16-23. Verse 17, if I’m God’s temple and accountable to him as steward thereof, what are some do’s and don’ts for today? Does this have anything to do with the virus?

Matthew 22:1-14. Verse 11, to enter the presence of God the Father and Christ his Son, the Bridegroom, how must I be clothed today? Action point?
