Bible Saturday 5/9: The Gifts He Gives

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 19:1-14. Verses 12 and 13 KJV, what errors, faults, or presumptions in me are evident to others but unnoticed by myself? Prayer point for today?

Ezekiel 29:1-21. Verse 21, God promises to make Israel bud again. What would such renewal look like for me, my family, and my church after this pandemic—not just for our wellbeing but for his glory?

I Corinthians 12:1-11. What’s one spiritual gift that God has endowed me with? How can I make better use of it in showing love to him and love to others as the Covid crisis goes along?

John 7:10-24. Verse 17, the more we obey the Father, the clearer we see the Son. How has this proved out in my experience, if at all? How can I apply it even today?
