II Kings 18:1-37. Verses 28-33, Assyrian propaganda to intimidate the Jews. With what threats and bribes do worldly powers bombard God’s people these days? What’s my defense?
Job 11:1-20. Zophar smugly moralizes to Job. What’s my answer to his insistence that bad things don’t happen to good people? Present personal application?
Luke 6:1-11. Verse 9, is Jesus saying that to do nothing for the suffering man would be to do evil? What are the uncomfortable implications for my accustomed way of life?
