Bible Saturday 10/10: Paul on Mission

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 103:1-22. Verse 7 KJV, what are some of the ways of God that were made known to Moses? What difference can they make in my day?

Ezra 7:1-28. Ezra’s royal commission to oversee rebuilding of the temple. How does a secular ruler benefit when many or all of his people are God-fearing? How alert is my church to issues of religion and politics?

Galatians 1:11-24. Verses 15-19, Paul’s years out of sight after conversion. When has God sidelined me for a time of growth and preparation? Present application?

Luke 11:24-28. What protective measures does Jesus want me to have constantly in place against Satan’s infiltration of my mind and heart?
