Bible Sunday 10/11: Shine Bright

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 105:1-45. Verse 15 KJV, placing myself and my family under the protection of God’s command to our enemies, “Touch not my anointed,” what specific results can I expect in these stormy times?

Ezra 8:1-36. Verses 21-23, related question, Ezra on a perilous journey determines to trust God uppermost. Application to my present situation?

Galatians 2:1-10. Verses 7-9, in this time and place when so many are in need of hearing the gospel, to what audience has God particularly directed and equipped me?

Luke 11:29-36. Verse 33, related question, what’s my next step in making sure the candle of faith that Jesus has lighted in me is brightly visible, not obscured?
