Bible Tuesday 1/26: Enough for All

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 69:1-36. Verse 6, looking back over the past week, when did my actions reflect well on God and God’s people? When did my actions reflect poorly? Prayer point?

Genesis 26:1-35. Verse 22, Rehoboth, room enough for all. Is the idea that God’s fruitful creation is sufficient for everyone, we needn’t fight over scarcity, a truth to live by or wishful thinking? Application for me?

Hebrews 10:26-39. Do I tend to treat the grace of God that saved me as costly or cheap? Action point?

Matthew 8:23-34. When these devils scream that Jesus is the Son of God, what is the lesson for me and my church in the kingdom work we are doing?
