Bible Tuesday 1/12: On the Move

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 33:1-22. Verses 10 and 11 KJV, counsel of the heathen vs. counsel of the Lord. With America’s body politic running a high fever, what is the worldly mind’s diagnosis and prescription? What is God’s? My role?

Genesis 12:1-20. Abram on the move. When has God challenged me to take a big step by faith, not by sight? What did I learn? Present application?

Hebrews 5:1-14. Verses 12-14, in my spiritual diet, what are specific examples of the milk I take in and the meat I take in? Have I matured more toward the latter? Shall I undertake the next step now?

Matthew 5:1-12. Verse 6, related question, would someone observing me closely for the past week say my hunger and thirst for righteousness are low, medium, or high? Action point?
