Bible Wednesday 10/20: Choose Now

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 119:129-176. Verse 141, do I feel too small right now for the big things that are expected of me? What is God’s remedy?

I Chronicles 27:1-34. Verse 24, David’s disobedient census stricken from official records. What have I done that I wish could be erased from all memory? How does God regard that now?

Philippians 1:1-11. Verse 6, what work of God, in me or someone dear to me, isn’t yet completed according to the promise given here?

Luke 16:1-13. Verse 13, in what way am I tempted to serve two masters? How does Jesus want me to go about correcting that, starting today?
