Bible Tuesday 11/30: Found Him

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 78:1-46. Verse 36, lying to God. When have I done this? Am I doing so even now? Consequences?

Esther 1:1-22. A king and queen in bitter conflict. When world news is full of sensation, scandal, and strife, what’s my duty as a praying Christian?

John 1:35-42. Repeatedly in the gospels, starting here, we see the Apostle Andrew bringing people to Jesus. What qualities are required in someone who does that? How can I begin to play such a role?

John 6:1-14. Another example of the same. Where Philip halts at the seemingly impossible, Andrew sniffs out the possible. What situation in my life right now calls on me to choose between those two perspectives?
