Bible Monday 12/27: Companions of Christ

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 141:1-10. Verse 5, when have I been deservedly corrected by a fellow believer? What did I learn? Present application?

Micah 7:1-20, Verses 5-7, why are friendships, families, and marriages weaker now than in previous generations? What is my church doing about it? My role?

I John 1:1-7. Related question, when have I found by experience that our fellowship with the Father and with each other is only possible through reliance on Jesus Christ? Present application?

John 21:15-25. Heading into the new year, what would it look like for me to follow with both Peter’s and John’s best qualities? Which style comes easier for me?
