Bible Wednesday 6/23: Wideness of His Mercy

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 126:1-6. Verses 5 and 6, what seed does God want me to be sowing today, no matter what else presses on me, no matter how bleak things seem?

Numbers 3:1-51. The priestly tribe of Levi, census and posts of duty. Somewhere in God’s unseen archives, aren’t there equally detailed instructions for how I and each member of my family are to serve him?

Acts 10:9-23. Verse 15, in what specific ways do I fall short of loving as inclusively as God loves?

Mark 5:1-20. Verse 9, legion of many demons. What are some of the demonic beliefs and influences attacking me, my church, and our country right now? What is Jesus’ specific answer to each?
