Bible Saturday 7/3: Caleb the Bold

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 5:1-12. Verse 7 KJV, what’s involved for me to come into God’s house every day, every hour, even if I don’t go into a church building? Action point?

Numbers 13:1-33. Scouting reports from Canaan. Verses 30 and 31, why did they bring back two such opposite impressions from the same territory? How much of a Caleb am I, spiritually?

Acts 13:42-52. Verse 46, in my community, who are the more likely and less likely audiences for the gospel? What is my church doing to reach the less likely ones? My role?

Mark 17:14-23. How Jesus searches hearts. What does he see in my heart today that he dislikes and wants to purge out with my cooperation?
