Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?
Psalms 34:1-22. Verse 7, what do I most need God’s angels to do for me today? What must I do to receive that?
Isaiah 6:1-13. Verse 8, if I begin adding the “Send me” petition to my daily prayers, what might God do with that? Shall I take the risk?
Revelation 7:1-17. Verse 3, what’s the symbolism of being “sealed in my forehead” as a servant of God? What privileges come with that? What obligations? Action point today?
Matthew 5:1-12. Verse 6, what are the identifying marks of someone who hungers and thirsts after righteousness? Reviewing the past 24 hours, do I qualify or not?
