Bible Monday 11/7: Build That Ark

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 19:1-14. Verse 12, when has God made me aware of what had been a secret fault, and then cleansed me of it? Present application?

Isaiah 12:1-6. Verse 3, water from the wells of salvation. What does God want me to do with that water today—for my own and others’ benefit—for the glory of his name?

James 5:13-20. Verses 14-16, who needs physical healing today, that I can pray for right now? Will it be a prayer of doubt or of faith, fervent and effectual (KJV)?

Luke 17:20-37. Verses 26 and 27, what qualities of Noah shall I ask Jesus to endow in me as I face today’s challenges?
