Bible Saturday 11/12: Alpha and Omega

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 34:1-22. Verse 4, seeking the Lord. What are some attitudes and actions I can undertake today to fulfill this?

Isaiah 17:1-14. God’s severe judgment upon Damascus. How can America hope to escape the same?

Revelation 1:1-8. Verse 5, what are some specific ways my life is different today because Jesus with his own blood has washed me from my sins?

Luke 18:35-43. Verse 41, what do I want Jesus to do for me today? To this question, so often asked by Jesus to someone in need, what is my answer? Am I aiming high enough? Am I confident or doubtful?
