Bible Tuesday 12/27: Celebrate

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 141:1-10. Verse 5, when has someone been used by God to sharply correct me when I was going wrong? What did I learn? Present application?

Isaiah 62:1-12. Verses 4 and 5, what does God want me to know about his relationship to me, in likening it to a marriage? What opportunity and what obligation does this present for me today?

I John 1:1-7. Verses 6 and 7, how am I a different person today—specifically—if I walk in darkness or if I walk in the light of Christ?

John 21:15-25. In the next chapter of my life, how can I be more obedient to Jesus’ repeated command to Peter that we are to feed his sheep?
