Bible Sunday 3/6: Path of Life

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 16:1-11. Verse 11 KJV, what choice must I be alert to, this day, between God’s path of life and a false or opposite path? What will it look like today, for me to experience the joy and pleasure of His path?

Jeremiah 19:1-15. Jeremiah acts out the shattering consequences of Judah’s disobeying God. As the Ukraine war shatters millions of lives, what responsibility must my country—and I myself—own up to?

Romans 15:1-6. What truth from Scripture shall I dwell with today for comfort and hope?

Matthew 4:1-17. Jesus, fasting in the wilderness, repulses the devil’s temptation. What’s the most deadly lie Satan is throwing at me in this season of my life? What is God’s antidote to that poison?
