Bible Tuesday 4/26: Starting Over

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 132:1-18. Verses 1, 10, 11, 17, remember David. What can I learn from David’s strengths and weaknesses that will help me serve God better?

Ezekiel 11:1-25. Verse 19, God offers his people a fleshy heart in place of a stony heart. When have I been offered such an exchange? How would others notice? Have I more of this process to undergo?

2 Peter 2:13-25. Verse 19, bondage disguised as liberty. How does the worldly mind today entrap whole nations with this lie? Verse 20, rescued from spiritual pollution by the Lord Jesus, Present application for myself?

John 3:1-21. Whom do I know that is in the position of Nicodemus, just a step or two from following Jesus? What can I do today to help that person take the decisive step?
