Bible Wednesday 5/25: The Way

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 62:1-12. Verse 11, who or what falsely claims power in my life, seeking to influence or intimidate me? How can I access God’s true power today and counteract those?

Ezekiel 40:1-49. Precision of detail in God’s plan for Israel’s restored greatness. What present concern of mine have I hesitated to bring before God in detail, not wanting to “bother” Him?

Ephesians 2:1-10. Verse 10, what are some specific good works that God intends me to undertake, through Jesus Christ, at this chapter of my life?

John 14:1-11. Verse 6, what tends to obscure or obstruct my active obedience to Jesus as the only way, only truth, and only life that I was put here to follow?
