Bible Wednesday 5/11: The Secret

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 25:1-22. Verse 12, what secret does God reveal to me, the more I obey and adore him? What proof do I have?

Ezekiel 26:1-21. Continuation of God’s wrath against Israel’s hateful neighbors. Am I clear that God’s holiness exalts him far above favoritism to any person, group, or nation?

I Corinthians 10:14-22. Verse 21, beware partaking of the Lord’s table on Sunday and the devil’s table the other six days of the week. How might I unwittingly be doing that and never realize it?

John 6:52-59. How does eating and drinking the very Person of Jesus Christ turn me into a completely different person. How would others notice that happening to me?
