Bible Monday 10/16: Walk the Walk

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 115:1-18. Verses 9-11, what do I need to have God shield me from today? What’s my role in that, beyond simply asking?

I Chronicles 22:1-19. David, nearing death, charges Solomon to build the temple and begins preparations. What have my parents commissioned me to do, for the glory of God and the honor of their name?

Ephesians 5:1-14. Verse 2, what would it specifically look like today for me to walk in love, imitating Jesus Christ?

Luke 15:1-10. Focusing on the 1% who need Jesus the most. Who is someone I know that fits this description. What does Jesus want me to do for that person as soon as I can, with urgency?
