Bible Wednesday 12/20: Storm Warning

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 119:129-176. Verses 154, 156, 159 KJV, as I pray God would quicken me today—fill me with life, enliven me—what would that specifically look like as I go about my activities and relate with other people?

Daniel 12:1-13. Verses 3 and 10, in directing me to shine brightly, walk righteously, be purified and understand, what is God really asking of me day by day?

I Thessalonians 4:1-12. Verse 3, how can I earnestly pursue sanctification while at the same time remaining neighborly and approachable with unbelievers?

Matthew 7:24-29. Jesus warns me not of failing to hear him, but of failing to do. What is one specific teaching of his that I can act upon more faithfully today than yesterday?
