Bible Monday 2/27: Depths of Prayer

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 143:1-12. Verse 5, how is meditating or musing on God’s work different from simply noting it or thinking about it? Shall I pause for a moment right now and do so?

Proverbs 5:1-23. Verses 13-15, when have I experienced great regret at ignoring the warnings God sent my way? Present application?

Romans 8:26-30. Verse 26, is there an aching need, too deep for words, that I should ask the Holy Spirit to place before the Father today on my behalf?

Matthew 15:1-20. Verses 12-14, Jesus is unconcerned when the Pharisees take offense. As his disciple in this era of micro-aggressions and cancel culture, how important is it for me to be tactful and inoffensive?
