Bible Monday 3/6: Always Before Me

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 16:1-11. Verse 8, what would it look like for me to live with God always at my right hand? What would I faithfully do and think, or firmly refuse to do and think?

Proverbs 12:1-28. Verses 17-19, when have I done harm by something I said or failed to say? Application for this day?

Romans 11:11-21. Paul’s olive tree metaphor for salvation of Gentiles and Jews. In what way might I become foolishly boastful about my standing with God? With what consequences?

Matthew 18:1-9. Verse 6, what grave offenses against children are committed by ungodly persons and powers in our time? What is my church doing about it? My role?
