Bible Tuesday 3/7: To the Rescue

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 17:1-15. Verse 15 KJV, if the Psalmist is saying the eyes of my heart may actually behold God’s face, what will I see there? How will my day be different?

Proverbs 13:1-25. Verse 12, what has been my toughest experience of hope deferred? How has God’s tree of life sustained me through that?

Romans 11:22-36. Verse 29, have I had proof that God’s gifts to me are given for keeps? How can I thank him for that today?

Matthew 18:10-20. Whom do I know that is like a lost sheep, needing Jesus the Good Shepherd to seek him out? What might be my role in that?
