Bible Sunday 3/12: Eleventh Hour

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 31:1-24. Verse 20 KJV, what is the secret of God’s protection for me against all dangers? Why does it matter?

Proverbs 18:1-24. Verse 24, outside my own family, who is my most valuable friend? How has God shown up for us?

Romans 14:1-13. In what way might differing—but non-essential—religious beliefs and practices be keeping me from productive cooperation with others in Kingdom work?

Matthew 20:1-16. Related question, what little attitudes of spiritual pride or self-importance does Jesus want me to get rid of, so he can better use me for his purposes?
