Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?
Psalms 90:1-17. Verse 12 KJV, how does God’s way of numbering our days differ from the world’s way of doing so? How will my priorities change as a result?
Exodus 15:1-27. Moses’ victory song for Israel’s deliverance at the Red Sea. What important victory has God made possible for me recently?
I Corinthians 10:14-22. Verse 16, what evidence could others notice that I am a different person, leading a different life, as a result of taking communion with the body and blood of Christ?
John 6:15-21. What favor am I asking today from the same God whose miraculous power enabled Jesus to walk on the sea and Moses to part the sea? Am I asking in faith or in doubt?
