Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?
Psalms 89:1-52. Verse 15 KJV, as one of God’s people who know the joyful sound, what am I sure of? How does it make me feel? What does it move me to do?
Exodus 14:1-31. Spiritually, what “Red Sea” do I need to have God part for me right now? Verses 13 and 14, what’s involved in my obeying God’s command for me to be still and hold my peace?
I Corinthians 10:1-13. Verse 10, related, what am I inclined to murmur about? Why does God forbid it along with other more glaring sins?
John 6:1-14. Verses 9 and 10, what am I facing at present that can only be solved with God-math, not everyday math?
