Bible Tuesday 5/23: We the Valiant

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 60:1-12. Verse 1 KJV, in what way can it be said God’s people are scattered these days? What is my church doing about it? My role?

Leviticus 5:1-19. God’s further instructions for sin offerings. Is the sin problem of all humankind given the weight in my church and in my own daily walk that Jesus wants it to have?

Nahum 3:14-19. What are Christians to do when we begin to realize our worldly elites and leaders are no better than worms, locusts, and grasshoppers? Whom then can we trust and follow?

John 15:18-27. How is the world’s hatred of the Father, Son, and Spirit becoming more aggressive in our times? When will it start directly impacting me, my family, and my church? How should we prepare?
